We are a socially responsible full-service law firm founded in (1961) in Nigeria, by Chief Enechi Onyia, S.A.N., O.O.N. (late). Among our firm alumni are – judges(Retired/Active) of High Courts, Court of Appeal, and of The Supreme Court of Nigeria, Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Magistrates, practicing attorneys, politicians in high offices, state attorneys general, university professors, lecturers, diocesan registrar, etc.

We take pride in an established history, initiated at our founding, of pro bono work.

We were founded in 1961 as Ozoude Chambers, Law office of Enechi Onyia. We later grew to be Ozoude Chambers, Enechi Onyia and Associates and lately, Enechionyia and Associates (Ozoude Chambers). Our late founder Chief Enechi Onyia, S.A.N., O.O.N. was a respected and active litigator from his call to the Nigerian bar in 1961 until the week of his passing in 2021. He and the firm are known for incorruptibility and diligence in representing firm clients.

We have built a strong reputation among our communities relating to representation in civil matters, serious criminal cases, in representing clients against military regimes as well as before election petition tribunals. We are active litigators in state and federal courts of first instance as well as appellate courts.

We have training and experience in international and domestic law, with firm counsel educated in Nigeria, United States and United Kingdom as well as bar memberships in those jurisdictions.
